How we got here
How we met (again)
If there's one thing our journey has taught us, it is that God's timing is really everything. Our paths actually crossed years ago, and in full confession from his side, there was a massive childhood crush that never quite faded away. Life eventually carried us in different directions, but fate was far from finished with our story. Two years ago, life brought us back together right here in this city. We randomly stumbled across each other during a visit to family, right when a bit of light was needed most, recognising that it was a heavy season, she made it her gentle mission to bring warmth back into his world one check-in, one thoughtful gesture, one call at a time. What started as a mission to cheer up an old friend quickly grew into an irreplaceable connection. Truly, "As Iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend" (Prov. 27:17). We lifted each other up, transformed our childhood acquaintance into a deep, unshakeable friendship, and watched that friendship blossom into the greatest love of life. Looking back, we realised that God was preparing us for each other all along. It turns out the person we were meant to spend forever with was right there in our story from the beginning.
